Q: Why live video screen shows up black and a searching circle spins in center but nothing ever displays?

Q: Is there any PC client software I can use on my Mac computer?

A: The PC client software only supports windows operating system.

I have a couple of questions:

    1) I cannot get CAMWF to write on my SD card. The SD card setting is checked. But still nothing get written to it. The SD card I am using is 64 GB. Is that card qualify to use on this device?

    2) I cannot view my camera remotely. I have the device on my home wireless network. But how does it connect to my phone when I am out of state?

    Responder
    • wiseupshop

      1. The camera supports 32GB in Max. 2. Make sure that your device is really connected to your home wireless router network before going out. When you are out of state, you can view your camera remotely as long as you have access to the Internet.

I am trying to set up my camera for remote viewing...

When I click on the "star" icon, I don't get the same screen as in the manual. I think I am getting the "user Setting" screen, but not sure. The screen I see has no place to enter the SSID of my home wireless router...I am confused as to whats going on...

If someone could call me that would be great. (808) 561-3853.

I've successfully connected to my router and can see remotely without problems. 1) I've added a 32GB SD card and formatted it. 2) I set recording on with medium movement sensing. 3) How do I get to see what has been recorded? - At this time I don't know if anything has been recorded, but just in case I've made sure that there has been some movement to trigger recording.
    Thanks, Kezza

If you are using an IOS device, no matter how you record the video either by hitting the record button manually, or set the SD card recording, the video files will be saved in the SD card record. But if you are an android phone, the video will be saved in your phone flash memory if you hit the record button on the live video screen. The video files saved in the sd card can be played back your mobile after you donwload them.

I am interested to know why I can view the video feed while in my home but when I am away from my house I can not view the video feed. That was the whole point of my purchase. I am trying to connect to the RT - ***** WIFI and it states out of range.

    Responder
    • wiseupshop

If you connect your phone to the camera's WIFI network signal that starts with RT, you are allowed to watch live feed within 15 meters around. The WIFI camera is all about remote view. So for that to set up, you need to go find WIFI setting or network setting in the app. Give the camera a few minutes to establish a connection. When you away from home, just connect your phone to another network or shut off wifi and use mobile network instead. If remote view fails, press the power button twice in a row to reset the camera. The IP and WIFI indicators will illuminate for 15 seconds and turn off. The camera will reboot automatically in a few seconds.

Are you using Camwf application? 1.What place do you need to view remotely? your office? before remote view setup, you need to make sure that your app connects your smartphone to the camera via the camera's WIFI signal. Go to the network settings and choose an appropriate WIFI network at your workplace. the camera will reboot automatically. The Internet connection will take a few minutes. So be patient. When you are away from office, just connect another WIFI network or use your mobile network to see a live video stream of your office. If you want the camra to reset to factory default, press the power button twice in a row. The IP and Network indicators will be illuminated for a few seconds and go off. The camera will restart automatically.

        • wiseupshop

By WIFI you mean the camera's WIFI signal hotspot? If you want to view your office 24/7, you need to connect your phone to the camera via the camera's WIFI signal whose network SSID starts with RT. We call this kind of connection P2P or LAN mode which only works 15 meters away at most. So you have set up remote view or WAN mode which offers live video as long as you have access to the Internet.
After P2P connection is done, open the app, go to network settings, select a stable WIFI network in your office. Once you click Ok, the camera will reboot automatically. The camera's wifi hotspot will disappear soon. At this time, go back to WLAN setting page and you either connect to another WIFI network which must be different from the one you selected in the application. The remote view or WAN mode will be finished in a few minutes.

The LAN and WAN indicator lights will be illuminated for 5 seconds and then go out. The camera will restart automatically with default settings in 5 seconds.

It doesn't seem to be possible wich makes the app gallery pretty useless.

    • wiseupshop

If you record video by hitting the record button on the live video page, the video files will only be saved in the application. Go to the user settings to turn on SD card record function. The video files will be saved in the Micro SD card you inserted into the camera. Use a card reader to copy the video footage to your computer and play them back.

Is does say that if you turn on sd recording then it automatically records video every 3 minutes continiously. Surely that uses up memory pretty fast? Like the man above i want to record onto my SD Card but i dont want hours of pointless footage. When i choose record live video i want that and that only to be transferred to the SD Card. Is there a way for this to be possible?

Have set up both p2p clock camera & camwf app on my iphone6.
Both running well with P2P/Lan (15m) and Home wifi but can't access it fr a different location via a public or different wifi connection. Was wondering if i was away in another location with any given wifi access how do i get remote access just about anywhere even when abroad. Have tried many tutorials from You Tube but am not sure if am setting it up correctly for remote access. Have you got a step by step tutorial to set up with the remote access and just wanting to know with remote access the clock should be linked to the specific network wifi and not the camera wifi which only works 15m away at most? When am at a different location the device name shld be that specific wifi network connection?
